I am safe and sound; the Oklahoma storms have come and gone. Thank you, everyone, who was giving me play-by-play on twitter and via text message, I really appreciate it! My friend, Mandi and I made the best out of the stormy situation. She had a fort already prepared for me when I arrived. We had the necessities: out IPhones, Ipad, flashlight, pillows, and Gryffindor
the cat. Mandi made a good point, one day we will be giving wedding toasts at each other’s wedding, remember that one time we were taking cover from a tornado…couldnot have asked for a more fun time considering the scary situation.
Griff is such a good cat, he kept us calm during the storm.
Today has been less uneventful and for that, I am glad. I planned my day around the last episode of Oprah and it was well worth it. Now that it’s over, I am not really sure what I am going to do every day at 4:00. This evening, I am on the hunt for a chocolate cupcake recipe. I am not sure if I want to use one I already have or not (I know this is a total #whitegirlproblem). I want a cup of coffee in my hand and to be in a seat in the cookbook section of a bookstore a.s.a.p.!
