Glee in the Jukebox

It’s Friday, and you know what that means?  Time for the best day of the work week, in my opinion.  I celebrated the occasion with some cute new shoes that I bought yesterday.  I decided I have been a good girl; I needed a treat!  Raining for six days straight?!  In the past six days, we have had over 4 inches!  July in Oklahoma is not usually like this, but hey…I am enjoying the 70-degree temperatures.

With that said, I was going on an FFA Officer float trip as a chaperone with my little sister.  We went to Tahlequah Ok to float the river. With all of the rain, we did not get to float.  So, we just hung out.  We ended up playing four games of bowling.  My average score was 91, not too bad since I haven’t bowled since high school.  I did have a lot of fun, and it was a good laugh if nothing else.  The bowling alley had a jukebox; they didn’t have music playing which I found that to be a little odd.  Most bowling alleys have the music blasting.  So I decided to hit up the jukebox.  It had a Glee playlist, needless to say, that was the music of choice.  Lauren and I sang and danced like no one was watching.  We were total fools, and it was the most fun I have had in a while.

Lauren started doing granny shots at one point and was making strikes!  It was priceless.  However, at one point she slipped, did the splits, then fell onto her butt!  I totally lost it!

I wish the sun would come out, I want to lay out by the pool and work on my tan.  I am not sure when that is going to happen again, though.  It makes me sad; it has not felt like summer in a while.

The office is so quiet today; I am not sure where everyone is. Oh well, I am taking full advantage of it and playing some Hannah Montana and singing along.  I would be embarrassed if someone were to walk in.
